Editable Admit one assessment tickets. Children explain one thing they enjoyed about the lesson e.g. the use of manipulatives to support their learning and one thing they still struggle with. This encourages children to take ownership for their own learning and become self-reflective individuals. Edit each admit one tickets Learning Objective so you know which lesson the children are self evaluating. This helps you, as an educator, on what your next steps need to be and if whole class or group interventions/recaps are needed to support understanding. This was highly successful in my Year 6 classroom.

All About Me Jigsaw Piece

This All About Me Jigsaw Piece can be used in any year group at the beginning of the school year to get to know the students. Each jigsaw puzzle fits together to produce a classroom display, where the children can customize their own to reflect themselves. Each jigsaw includes: my name, 3 fun facts about me, my favourite colour, food and hobby, this year I would like to and a box for the children to draw a self portrait.

This resource can be added to a classroom wall and used as a behaviour management tool in any year group. The children can choose the reward they will work towards. Place numbers 1 to 3 on a whiteboard and anytime the class is disruptive rub off number 3, then two, then one. These numbers will correspond to how many numbers the children can draw, in order to reach a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line.
